E-PAGA wins

FEMA has awarded E-PAGA a contract to perform a comprehensive revision of the National Fire Academy’s 10-day, instructor-led Fire Service Financial Management course.

The course provides fire and emergency services professionals with skills to effectively manage the fiscal activities of their organizations and communities. Training will address governmental budgeting, outcome-based budgeting, data analysis and economic trends, program analysis, financial documents and purchasing, alternative revenue sources, and the development and presentation of financial recommendations.

Under this contract, E-PAGA will update the course to reflect current standards and evidence-based practices, conduct a course design meeting, develop a new plan of instruction, revise the student manual and instructor guide, develop activities and evaluation materials, conduct a course walkthrough, deliver a 10-day pilot, evaluate pilot feedback, and produce final course materials.

This contract adds to E-PAGA’s decades-long record of supporting FEMA’s National Fire Academy across curriculum development and revision projects.
