E-PAGA offers a Dam Incident Readiness Accelerator, a structured, turnkey technical assistance program, specifically designed to help Virginia localities meet dam safety exercise expectations while strengthening real-world incident preparedness.

Built on our experience facilitating multiple state and regional dam incident planning and exercises, our Dam Incident Readiness Accelerator aligns dam incident plans, such as Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) and Emergency Operations Plans (EOPs), with HSEEP methodology to deliver exercises that are compliant, actionable, and defensible for funding.

What’s Included

  • Dam incident-focused tabletop and functional exercises
  • Public Alerts and Warnings alignment for dam incidents
  • Scenario development aligned to Virginia dam safety requirements
  • Multi-agency coordination (dam owners, emergency management, public safety, public works)
  • HSEEP-aligned documentation (C&O through AAR/IP)
  • Integrated improvement planning with clear corrective action tracking

Why It Works

  • Supports state dam safety and preparedness expectations
