Hilary Hansen

Hilary has more than 20 years of experience in academia and a decade of experience as a professional writer and editor, and her multidisciplinary background in science, education, and business administration makes her a versatile contributor to an array technical writing projects. Working with the E-PAGA team, she supports the development of training materials for Federal clients, performs quality assurance review on client deliverables, and helps to develop E-PAGA’s communications. Hilary received her Master of Arts degree in nonfiction writing from Johns Hopkins University, and she formerly taught and administered academic programs at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.

In her spare time, Hilary enjoys making ice cream for family and friends, practicing yoga and mindfulness meditation, traveling with her kids, and dabbling in home improvements.

Fun fact: Hilary has pet praying mantises and has raised seven different mantis species.
